Gas coming out of carb

So went to take the boat out today, squeezed the primer bulb a couple times and I smelled gas. I take my engine cowl off and there is gas in the bottom. When I squeeze the primer bulb gas shoots out of this (shown in picture) part.
What would be the reason for this?
This is the middle of the 3 carbs, the too and bottom don't leak gas.
And that screw has a hole in it, almost like a vent, so do the other two carbs. Looking at a rebuild kit and it looks like the replacement screws don't have holes...hmmm
Also, I have been running this motor all year and no issues with gas coming out that hole till now.

Update!
So I took apart the bowl on the carb and checked that the float was working right...and it was...however I notice something odd by the needle and low and behold it was some foriegn object that was stopping the needle from closing. Cleaned it out and now the gas stops squirting out.

Was about to say check for trash in the needle/seat.
The screw is a bowl vent. Some have them, some don't. You may have different carbs on the outside. Don't know about boats so much but some setups use one carb to idle on and the other ones come in off idle so they physically look almost the same but the idle mix circuitry is deleted.
