Time for a new depth finder

I think my present Ratheon L365 has finally bit the dust. It is no longer sending information to the screen and the speed has not been working for awhile. I care nothing about locating fish with my next purchase. I would like speed, distance and depth. Navigation would be nice but not a top of the list priority. I have attached 2 pictures of how my present unit is mounted to my pontoon. Any suggestions as to what modes might fit my needs I would appreciate.

i bought my Lowerance Hook5 on clearance from Bass Pro Shops...I too am not a big fisherman but I wanted the chart plotter and GPS features. it does what I need plus more, i'm very happy with it.

If cost is an issue at all, the Garmin Striker 4 is $100 and has GPS (speed), simple nav (no map but can do breadcrumb trails and store waypoints), and depth. Also a really good directional heading compass which I used to use while having gmaps up on my phone. You can go up from there. If you have an engine newer than around 2005 or so many units are available that can be networked to it giving you engine data as well.....hours, oil pressure, temp, RPM, fuel rate, etc.

I am assuming the Garmin Striker has total miles ridden with ability to reset per trip? Nice looking unit. Looks like it serves everything I will need. Thought about looking at one with maps, but I can always get an android app to see what is all around me in reference to campgrounds, parks etc.

I think there are some youtube videos showing some of the features and how to use. I think there is a "start route" function or something you can use like a trip meter. Once you have some waypoints stored (you can enter gps coordinates or use current location), you can "navigate to" and select one and it'll show you the distance but in a straight line.

I decided to go with the Garmin Striker Plus 4. It looked like it would meet all my needs. Thanks for all the info.
