Suzuki DF 90 / Fuel / Vapor separator
I'm rebuilding my fuel vapor separator with all new parts. There is a seal ring that is recessed into the case housing, manual says to apply: Suzuki Bond 1207B to the outside edge of housing. Is anyone familiar with this sealer and is there a substitute like Permatex etc. that can be use ?

Based on a quick google search, it looks like it's just a silicone "gasket". It's available on Amazon.

Yes, I have the gasket, I need to know if there is a Permatex etc equivalent for the Suzuki bond sealant.
Re: Suzuki DF 90 / Fuel / Vapor separator
Don't know that you'll find an "exact" equivalent. It's really Three Bond 1207B RTV silicone form-a-gasket. It's also sold as Hondabond and Yamabond varieties....they label them like 4, HT, 1184, etc. so you have to get the right one. I would probably just use Permatex Ultra Black.

I used to have motorcycles and some Honda documents say "Use Hondabond HT, 1207, or equivalent" for doing things like case replacement. It's basically an RTV gasket maker. Here's an example:

Hondabond HT is a lot cheaper and a lot easier to find than 1207.

Are talking about the o-ring to engine side for vacuum? I have always just used ky to lube o-ring.
