Need favor from a Party Hut owner...

#1 Post by Motor7 » Fri Oct 23, 2020 4:34 am

While doing my re-furb, I took a picture of the boat capacity decal....but now I cant find it. I accidently got some of the stripper on it when prepping the fence for paint and the thing just dissolved. Best can remember it was 12 Persons or 1775 lbs.

My boat is a 1987 model 28 DL

If anyone can snap a photo/send info off of their decal and PM it to me it would be greatly appreciated. I just need pertinent info off of it to have a new one made. In the mean time I have an inquiry in at Sun Tracker to see if they can send me a new one....but being that old it's a crap shoot.

I reckon you've already checked with the NMMA to get your new decal but who knows they might also be able to see if they've got it in their database. Worth the five minutes to fire off an email to them with your model and VIN just to see. You never know....

Hi Richard,

I love the refurbishment you've done! Also, it is your lucky day! These capacity tags are no longer in production, but we have the last 3 in stock here at our corporate office. I'd be happy to send you one at no charge. I will just need your mailing address. Thank you!

Very Respectfully,

Man, ain't it great when your message lands with someone who gives a crap?

You should see all the stuff my wife deals with at work that's easy enough for a child to complete but that other people receive and keep putting in the deferred folder.

And for way too many people, the "deferred folder" is the trash.

I tell ya, in this new age of crap customer service this was totally refreshing. And Tracker is a huge company so kudos to them for sure!
