Hi. I just acquired a 2013 Legacy 250 SHP. I pulled the plug when they took it out of the water for service and cleaning (it was neglected). The plug is plastic and NOT standard an of course it disintegrated on me (actually a mechanic friend knew it would happen and he took it out). I am actually having a lot of difficulty figuring out how to replace it. I feel it's closest to a 1/2 x 20 thread and a straight thread, not a tapered plumbing thread (because the 1/2 inch NPT Nylon plug I tried didn't work). Does anyone know what plug will thread in there? The local Manitou dealer was surprisingly useless in this regard.
