How do you use your bimini top?

We don't have one on our boat.

We have one, but it's almost always stowed. Bring on the sun!

We use ours on really hot sunny days, or if passengers request it, but probably less than half the time overall.

Ours is up almost all the time. We love the water, but want shade!

How do you use your bimin top

I'm curious to know how often people actually deploy their top to get some shade. I know in my case, it probably only gets deployed 3 or 4 times a year.

I am the extreme opposite. After years of being a sun worshipper, I'm paying for it now with having skin cancer spots removed pretty much every year.
It's up every time... at least the back half!

Our boat is 25' with a 10' Bimini top for the rear. We boat all year and the top is generally stowed during the cooler months and up more than half the trips during the warmer months. Top is always up when it's 95F to 100F or higher, but we don't often go out when it's above about 106F.
Big and ugly but we love our 1999/2000 Crest II DL with a Yamaha F115

I live in the South and have a double bimini. It stays up all the time and nobody complains about not getting enough sun.

We have dual tops on ours, and they stay up all the time. We live on the southwest coast of Florida.

When I take my boat out I generally leave the bimini top at the house as I primarily fish out of mine, and I don't like it in the way. When my wife or kids come with me we use the top a lot.

My wife is fair skinned & changes seats often to stay in the shade. if the sun is out, the top is open.
