2016 Sun Tracker question(s)

Anyone have any experience with the Sun Trackers from 2015-ish up?

I think I have a fuel delivery issue on ours. Mercury 60 ELPT. Will not reach max RPM under load. Its been getting worse the last few trips. If I let it idle, I can quickly roll on the throttle and it will run up to 5200-ish, but it will fall off at random rates. Sometimes it falls off right away, other times it will hold on for a while, but will eventually fall off to about 4500-4800 RPM.

The fuel filter on the side of the engine seems clean.
The engine runs great otherwise.

I replaced the throttle and shift cables, but I was already having trouble with the power issues.
Aside from that, there have been no other changes.
Historically, our engine sees 5500-5600 RPM at WOT going straight no matter the load.

Thinking I'm going to pull the fuel line off and replace it this weekend. Other than that, I have no idea if there is something else in the tank that might be contributing.

I would run heavy doses of SeaFoam thru the engine before I touched anything.

Well.

Its not a fuel filter issue. I removed the ball pump and the line it came with. That line has an inner sleeve and it was separated from the hose itself. I replaced it with same size fuel line, and it didn't help at all. Tested it this morning. 4200 RPM max and its getting worse. Now it runs rough for a few moments.

Learning to work on this thing is difficult. Seems like there is NO information out here on the web.

Sounds like you may have some debris in the carburetor. If the hose you replaced was separating on the inside , I would bet on something in the carb.

Looks like it's FI...no carb so it should have two built-in fuel filters to check/replace.
