Broke Ladder

#1 Post by Reiner » Tue May 31, 2022 11:37 am

Hello, I broke the lower 3-steps off my folding ladder while pushing the boat off the sandy beach. Didn't realize the ladder was down and it went backwards under the boat. Does someone know if you can just replace the lower part?

Thanks,

Probably going to be tough to find just the bottom half unless you can call Lowes and/or find the manufacturer of that ladder and see if they'll sell you the bottom only. Might be easier just to replace the whole thing. I looked and there's lots of options on Amazon, Overtons, etc. and even here. https://www.boatladdercentral.com/

And surprisingly, they are really pretty cheap!

I emailed my car guy who is also a fabricator for off-road trucks and he can fix it. Will post pics once it is done. I looked yesterday online and wasn't able to find just the lower half.

Thanks,

I was going to suggest that you find a local welder who does aluminum.
