Sun tracker top speed ?

2006 party barge 25, with Mercury 90 4 stroke. 2 logger, with 26" toons.
Owner says it will do 30. I don't think it will. What do y'all think ?

It should run in the low 20's. I know Lakerunners is a 22'with the same outboard, 26" logs,and I think he runs aorund 22-24 mph.

I agree, I have a 22 foot Regency with a 90hp Merc. I can run 24, to 26 at times but average loaded 23 or 24 this is with GPS. I would guess you will see 22 tops.

He may have been truthful thinking he was running 30. That is if he was using his speedo to determine speed.

The web site claims the party barge 24 w/90hp will do 26-28 mph. I believe 24-26 would be more like it.

He should have ordered the NV Performance Logs. Then he would be in the 30's. My 2009 Party Barge 21 with 90HP 4st and NV logs and alluminum deck has run 38 GPS with one person and about 8 gals of gas. This past Saturday I was running 34.7 with 6 people and 30 gals of fuel. I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't been there... Later in the afternoon when we opened the bimini it would still run 34.

Ya, when i bought our 2007, they didnt offer the NV package.
I was ready to buy right at the end of 2007 when the 2008's had already come out.

I looked at those strakes and i thought, Heck ya buddy!!!

Then i saw the price...
The same exact toon, was $7500 MORE in 2008 then the 2007 models...
Holy Crap!
And that was withOUT ordering the NV pkg... that added $2500 more...

Thats almost 10k i would have paid for more 'stylish' seats and basically adding strakes.. Yikes!!

The 2008 was like 32.5k + 2.5k for the nv.. -> about 35k.
I bought the exact same 2007 toon for 24k

I asked the dealer just last week if he knew anyone who would weld on after market strakes.
I was hoping if i went through Tracker to get it done, they'd still honor my warranty..
He said nope...

Maybe next year I'll to find someone who will weld on strakes for a couple $K.

I can PLOW along at about 25 im guessing.... havent had a GPS on there yet...
Cant complain!! Been out on the thing about every weekend! Just coming up on 100 hours on the meter!
