Set a new personal speed record!

Put the boat away the other day and it's always fun to open it up and burn some of the last gas from the season. Previous best speed record was 42mph GPS. This year we took off all the extraneous gear before taking it out of the water. Trolling motor, batteries, portapotty. All that weight adds up! New top speed, flat water, cool day, no passengers... 47.5 mph. Was a good day. Took quite a while to get the smile off my face.
