Anybody taking a Christmas Toon ride?

#1 Post by Toontroller » Fri Dec 08, 2006 7:22 am

Heading back to lake Whitney to campout over Christmas..

Saturday, Christmas Eve going to my sisters at Richland Chambers Lake for a family lunch & maybe a little Sandbass fishing ( if I can find a ramp to launch from).

Hope the weather cooperates so I can get in some R&R on the toon and some fish in the freezer!

Hey toonie...by next Christmas you may get one or two responses to this. Things have been pretty slow around here...well...and PDB for that matter.

I'll be snowmobiling, hopefully, by Christmas.
Just verified it on Snopes. Liberals are complete mouth breathing idiots.

Damn Herb, you gotta quit working so much. 7 days a week makes for a long year.
I doubt if we take the toon out any this weekend but we might sleep on the boat a night a two if it's not too cold. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!!!

Cheers

Well the best made plans of Mice and Men....Aw yall know what it says.....

Camping got cancelled and instead of Tooning I drove North of Dallas then South of Dallas then east then west Saturday and Sunday.

Monday hung around the house after Santa made his stop @ 3:30 in the morning I might add!

Watched a couple of old Christmas classics!
1) Beerfest
2) Talledega Nights "the story of Ricky Bobby"

Then to get the taste of those two out of our mouths went back and got Ice age and Cars.

Pop, Did you get ot float around Grapevine any? Weather was not the best in the world.

We floated right there in the slip. I haven't taken the boat out in quite some time. Lately all we've been doing is hanging out with the other folks who like to overnight on their boats, do a little grillin out there and sleeping on the toon. I think that's the best decision I've made lately when I got the new boat with the camper enclosure. We're sleeping out there almost every weekend. We'll be headed out there tomorrow right after work, looks like we might get to sleep with some rain falling!!!
