your opinions on a 2000 mercury force 120 hp outboard

#1 Post by hotairgypsy » Sat Oct 24, 2009 10:41 pm

There is one here for sale and i wondered besides the HP gain(i have a 84 75hp mercury on the toon right now) if there are any other gains to be gotten from this possible swap. They are selling it cheap cuz it has issues. claim it is hard starting but once going runs good.

what you all think?

Force ( Chrysler) were decent motors back then, not great but decent. They were very old school with old technology. I have to agree that to buy this motor would be a mistake.
