Pontoon Burger Joint

#1 Post by texasjae » Tue Mar 06, 2007 2:10 pm

Hello all pontoon experts! I am a Mom helping our daughter start a Pontoon burger joint to be cruising around Lake LBJ this summer selling burgers and hot dogs on the weekends. Have any of you ever seen one of these contraptions? Any ideas or suggestions? Please let me know if you have ever seen one of these. We are interested in learning from others. All help is welcome!!

My husband and brother-in-law are retrofitting a pontoon. We have all the licenses from Health and LCRA. Now we just need ideas and customers (Oh, and a liquor license to sell beer - our one roadblock so far.)

Oh, and the girls have named it the "Bikini Barge!"

I know there is a few on the intercoastal water way near cocoa Fl that use toons to sell food out of, I remember reading about them in the local papers when I was doing hurricane repairers there

What a great idea!!! I bet you could make lots of money on the weekends just simply selling cold water & soda!
