Marine Battery Brain Type3

#1 Post by brumbyvet.1044 » Sun Nov 01, 2009 11:45 am

defender.com is having a great sale on these. I have been looking at these for some time but did not want to pay over $100.00 for it. Defender now has them for half that. One of my neighbors at the lake has one on his boat and loves it.

Good price, wonder if you need one of these if you have a perko switch? Just had one put on, and was thinking when it was in the off position, there would be no discharge. Any one know? Mainly got it to run the inverter off the other battery.

This does shut it off when it's get a low voltage signal, so if your running the radio all day , you won't let you run down the battery so it won't start, perko switches between two batteries or off.

It's been a while since I have been on. I just want to comment that I have one of these units but found that when I went to install, It would not fit in my battery box
