Looking at a new Toon

#1 Post by Flanker » Tue Nov 10, 2009 2:54 pm

I am considering buying a new Toon and need some feed back. Also where can I find a good trade in value for my 04 20-foot Bentley Merc 50HP 4 Stroke?

Here is the new boat add:
Brief Description: 09 Crestliner 2385 Batata Bat Tri-toon with 150 Optimax and trailer

More Details: Brand new, unused 09 Crestliner 2385 Batata Bay Tri-toon model pontoon boat. Boat comes equipped with 27" logs. The middle log is mounted a lottle lower to act as a keel for superior tracking. Boat has lifting strakes and a full aluminum splash guard underneath. Boat has a single bimini top and a full mooring cover. There is an AM/FM/CD stereo system with multiple speakers. Crestliner "Lifetime Plus 3" warranty. Pontoon logs are painted above the waterline, dock guard rub rail, pop up changing station, and a ski tow bar. Engine is a 2009 Mercury 150 Optimax direct injected outboard, which propels the boat to over 45 MPH very fuel efficiently and quietly. The trailer is a brand new Venture Trailers galvanized steel tri toon trailer with a 2 year warranty. Boat had black and gray accents. Come take a look.

Kelly's or the NADA should give you an idea of the worth of the old toon and all accessories, the new one sounds like a great toon. Is the price fair on it, is it in southeastern Ohio?

Probably a pretty good price, think even the bentley 243 with a 150hp is now knocking on the door of 30k give or take a grand. If it is through a dealer, don't forget to work a prop (ss) in the deal. Also might want to ask about a smartgage since it is a Merc. You can check it out on Merc's site. It provides a lot of good info.

Seems like a great price with the trailer.
