Pontoon boarding ramp

#1 Post by slingshot » Sat Jan 09, 2010 10:48 am

Hello all:

I'm looking for a boarding ramp that slides from under the deck off the bow. Electric if possible. I've found the one at www.pontoonboatramp.com but I've gotten no response from them. I've also found an electric one on youtube but there's no info that tells you were you can buy one. Any ideas.

You can try handi Ramp here at: http://www.handiramp.com/boat_ramp.htm
the Aqua ramp might be what you are looking for.

or this: http://www.ironwoodpacific.com/products ... onramp.htm

or this: http://www.marineengine.com/products/ac ... in=2100600

I like this one: http://pontoonramp.com/

I can't vouch for any of these, but maybe someone here has used one and will speak up.

Thanks but I found those. pontoonramp.com is not responding. They may be out of business. The other ramp is solid and I kind of like the idea of the pontoonramp.com one. I'll keep looking I guess or maybe build my own by cannibalizing my ladder in my garage.

does it have to be a ramp? we use a $10 folding step ladder that stows pretty well on the boat and keep a little plastic bucket as a "foot wash" next to it when in use. although i'd love a ramp or a ladder, my ptx doesn't really allow much extra room in the bow.

A pair of ladder picks would work fine.
