You will hear alot of people bragging about MPH . just load up the family and friends and have a great time. You will not see very many toons that will pass you and none that ride and handle like the PTX does. Turn up the kickers and enjoy!!!!

haha, ok, you guys got to me. It's not 250, not 225, but I dug deep (not too deep, pulled from my fun slush funds) and put a 200hp instead of the 175 onto the boat. what's a couple extra bucks a month for more power!

congrats, by the time we are through with you, you'll have the 300HP motor hanging off the back. just kidding. you're gonna love the boat.

if i may, why did you chose the model with the 2 captains in the bow rather than the sofas?

That's great. Wish I had got a 200 on mine that's why I suggested a few more horses. For me I just wanted to hit the 40mph, which I barely did with the 150. You should have no problem breaking the 40 and may hit in the 44 range. Should be a great boat, love the premiers.

we went with a model with captains chairs for comfort and seating variety. I love captains chair and recliners. We figure we're usually going to have 4-6 people on the boat so we still have plenty of seating area. And with the chair being on the bow we can fish from them pretty well.

I'm guessing we'll be in the low 40s for speed and shouldn't have any trouble pulling a skier out of the water.

Congrats on an awesome boat. Glad to see you upgraded the power some. What the hell, right?

You should see plenty of performance with the 200.

Post up some pics when you get her.
