I'm thinking about upgrading the porta potti on the party hut, but don't have experience with pump out heads. I'm looking at something like the Traveler 718.
It has about a 9 gallon holding tank in the base and would attach to a fresh water tank with on demand pump I am installing. I have never used a pump out head, but it appears all the pump out fittings on are horizontally mounted on the decks of regular boats. I'm thinking about mounting the pump out connector a few feet above the tank on the vertical exterior wall of the head. Will I be left with a significant mess dripping down the side of the boat after every pump out?
Here is a party hut pic for reference.
Thanks for everyone's input.

Brad,
I really don't think you'd have to drill or make any modification to your boat. Most marinas have a pretty significant length of hose on their vacuums (pump out) ours is probably at least 25 ft. You may be able to just cap it off at the throne and when it needs pumped just turn it a bit and suck it right out of the throne itself. I'd be reluctant to do modifications unless I had to.

I concur with Bamby, better off not cutting a hole in the cabin wall.
