NON SKID APPLICATIONS
Hello guys ( & gals )
Quick question for you. I've got a new 20' Bennington that I purchased just as winter got here that past November, so I've only had it out twice. One thing I noticed on the trailer steps was this "non skid" material. Because of being out of shape, getting over a broken leg that required a plate and 8 screws, I was wondering if that non skid material could be purchased and cut to fit so I could put it all along the front end of the trailer. Seems it would make me feel alot better about stepping out on the wet trailer and not slipping and falling and breaking the other leg. Don't know what that material is called or even if you can buy it, but I figured if anyone would know it would be some of you. I appreciate your help. Thanks again.

Actually Roland you've opened a topic and seeking advice on something that everyone should actually address. And yes it can be purchased in any number of places on line. But if you have any kind of decent truck stop in you area, you can almost always walk in and pick it up there. I've almost taken nosedives off mine more times than I care to mention myself and know exactly what you're talking about.

What I've done in the past is to use the spray on bed liner. You can buy a spray can of it at Walmart for around $7.00 and it works real good. Just tape off the areas you don't want covered and I usually apply two or three coats. Works for me.

Re: NON SKID APPLICATIONS
Hey Guys, thank you all for the information. Apparently there are several options out there. everything from cut and peel tape to paint on to spray on bedliner. I'll definetly be running over to Lowes this weekend to get an up close look at this stuff.. I'm also considering that product from the american carmat web site. oldmn19 thanks for the link to that product. Thank you all for your help. I will be addressing this issue this weekend.. thanks again.
