Getting back on topic here but there is a movement afoot (pun intended) to dump all our shoes and go back to barefoot. The proponents indicate that our current athletic footwear causes us to use an unnatural heel strike where barefoot running is done on the ball of the foot and we use our toes for balance. One of them actually runs marathons barefoot!

I believe these types of shoes were developed to allow for some foot protection while maintaining the barefoot experience.

Frankly, I'll keep my Nikes, Merrells, and Tevas........

Its not so much her toes that bother me. Heck i could care less about those. I also dont care what color she is.. could be purple...Its her lack of Love for America coupled with her Socialist agenda that bothers me.
But then, this discussion belongs in the OFF TOPIC area.

As far as shoes go, im keeping mine. Glass in the foot hurts, plus i dont plan on running a marathon anytime soon...
