$3500.00 seems excessive

#1 Post by dahogman » Mon Mar 08, 2010 6:27 am

Does anyone else think this seems over priced? Looks like a good way to scratch or puncture a Toon. Poly wheels seem a little light duty for this type of endeavor. The whole system just seems a little to good to be true and could be a little heavier duty. :donno http://www.roll-n-go.com/mpon.html

I also question the strength and the fact it's only rated for 2000 lb's. I think you would also get a lot of small dents in the bottom of the toons from the small diameter wheels. Wide rollers would be a better choice in my opinion. But what do I know, the wife keeps telling me not much, lol! :2cents

That’s a rip off. Why wouldn’t you just buy this trailer for $1800 and take the wheels and axles off and lay it down like that thing. It would be a hell of a lot stronger and would even come with steps to board from the front. It also would handle a 24 footer. Then, if you needed to trailer the boat just put the axle and wheels back on and it’s a trailer again.
