Alright but they're not that good.
It was a night trip so pictures are mediocre at best. I like the first one just because you can see the derrick we tied off to for an hour or so to chill with a few beers.
I guess it was a little chilly, because all the girls were wearing jackets and towels to stay warm.

No, my dog hasn't ridden yet. I may not take her out until it gets warmer, because I want her to have good experiences jumping off into the water. I'm afraid if she jumps off and the water's freezing cold, she won't want to do it again.
I didn't get too much. I got $200 taken off and they threw in an anchor and anchor chain, two life jackets, and it came with one table. Not bad I guess. Oh yeah, and two hats. I like hats.
I'm not sure on the top end speed. My GPS wasn't set correctly so I didn't get a reading. My boating friend who went out with me that night thought I was going 20-25 top end. You guys all said no way though, so I really want to get an accurate reading soon. We all agreed that I would have no problem pulling a tube and possibly even a skier.
I can't believe it's still snowing that far south. That's a bit rediculous. When is global warming going to kick in so we can all start enjoying our pontoons?

I'm not very south more central / east of San francisco Ca. 5 hrs drive and east of lake Tahoe 15 Min's drive. the elevation is 6200 feet .
Nice and cold However the water is clean and blue .
You can see a dinner plate 60 feet down on the lake bottom. I'm hoping to launch next month.
What do you tow your toon with ?

Sweet!!!!
Looks like a good trip!
Many more to come!
Ya , 20-25 on a 21foot toon with a 50hp would be pretty dam good...
It seems it usually takes at least 90hp to get into the mid 20's.
, unless you have strakes...
Course ya need almost 90 hp to get up ON the strakes, but then you can get into the 30's.

Stephen:
Who gives a crap what Al Gore says about the fuel mileage on your truck pulling your pontoon. It's part of it. Al's living in a 10,500 square foot house in Belle Meade with a $2K monthly utility bill. He flies all over the world in his personal Gulfstream jet. Talk about a hypocrite.
You just go ahead and have a good time with your beautiful pontoon boat. If you decide you want a little more power, trade or sell the 50 for a much larger late model used motor. IBoat.com has a 2010 90 hp Mercury for $6399. If you check on Boattrader.com and EBayMotors.com, you can always save $ on late model, low hr. outboards.
