Trailer Boat Gudies

#1 Post by MAP » Sat Apr 10, 2010 4:50 pm

I have been converting my trailer from vertical rubber rollers that serve as guides to 8' long board guides that mount where the rollers were. How far from the toons should the boards be when adjusted properly? My toons are 25" diameter and I set the boards at 4" from the toons in the rear and 2" in the front. Any ideas?

Thanks

That sounds about right to me. Mine are 5-6 inches from the toons. Probably wouldn't hurt to move my closer. Guide boards are much better than rollers in my opinion.

Almost touching on mine. Boat has no choice but load perfect every time.
