A lesson learned " No matter what happens around you, never take your eye off the beer!"

If it is parked at your house and stolen/vandalize...the boat policy would apply for the boat only (possibly some contents on the boat). If someone falls off of it at your house, then Ed is right... that's homeowners. Boat policies typically only apply during operation

I had a bunch of fishing gear stolen out of my boat in my driveway once, years ago. Called BoatUS and they said that was a homeowner's claim. Homeowners insurance paid for the loss.

Beer falls of boat while boat is in the water = boat ins. Beer gets stolen out of boat in driveway = homeowners ins. Beer falls out of boat while being towed = auto insurance.
