will post pics tomorrow...due to no front deck extension we had to fabricate a brace which turned out perfect.....installed a pontoon 55 from minnkota.....this bracket it came with is sweet,your able to remove when not in use

When you get the motor going, tell me how it pulls your big toon around. Speed? Is it a 12 or 24 volt system? How long can in run on before it runs your batteries down? Is it a transom mounted or bow mounted on a bracket? (because I have been thinking about adding one but not sure how it would perform.

k it's a 12v 55lb thrust w/52" shaft, bow mounted and will update other info...soon as possible

Ive got the same setup on a 24' does pretty good. as for battery life, mine isnt a good comparison guide, yall have seen my battery

Thanks for posting the pictures. Tell me how it moves that big boat around will ya. I am thinking about either going with a trolling motor or a 15hp kicker. (I recently screwed up and put bad gas in my brand new Honda 150. Made it about 1/2 mile from the dock, and went dead in the water. It was embarrasing to be towed back by one of those "SeaDoo" boats, but I was glad for a ride. Even more painfull was the $400 bucks to flush the tank and motor. It is good to have "a little propulsion" in sittuations like that.

yes,that's the main reason,but second never know when a person might want to rock fish in the fall/winter

Good job, but please tell me you don't have metal touching aluminum,dissimilar metal causes electrolysis and will eat on the aluminum.

So separate them and use SS bolts

Yea that should work, either or some rubber sheet, you just don't want them touching each other.

I added the MinnKota 55 lb 52 inch shaft to the front of my 22" Sylvan. I mounted the bracket UNDER the deck so you can't see it and it is out of the way. I also installed a remote on/off switch back at the fishing stations.
