new to pontoons so question ? If ihave a 28 ft. pontoon what would you recommend for an anchor if you are on a river with a slow current and want to stay secure for a few hours and how much line.
probably allegheny river pool 6 in pa.
Is weight of anchor important or just style to dig in or mutiple anchors better.

What type of bottom is it, in Florida we have sand bottom most places, so I use a 3 fluke mushroom type 18 pound and most say you want it about 2 to 2and1/2 times the depth to hold good.

We down have the current here but the wind will blow you you all over and we are just a big sail in the wind
