Is there anything I can apply to my Sunbrella mooring cover to revive it? After two years in the sun, it is begginning to get stiif. I anticipate it will start cracking/tearing soon if I don't do something to it.

I use the aerospace 303 fabric cleaner and then restorer. gets it back to the nice water repellant state it had as new.

303 is the stuff, you would not belive what a difference it makes. It's expensive, but worth every penny. You can buy it by the gallon. I bought both the cleaner and protectant on eBay from two separate sellers. It was the best price around.

Maybe buy a large amount of it and then pour it in a large tub and soak your cover in it for a couple of days?

hell, it IS expensive. to do that, you could buy a new top. Just get 1 or 2 bottles and use as directed. Stuff works great.

what is the warranty? I thought sunbrella was something like 5 years. Sometimes there are some bad batches so you might need to ask your dealer.

fabric warranty is 10 years according their website. sounds like you might have a case if the fabric is failing.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I will try the 303. Although it is still under warranty, I don't think it is to the point of "failing." Also, since the warranty only covers the fabric and not the labor to replace it, I'm not sure it is worth pursuing. I'll talk to my dealer though just in case -- he has been helpful in the past.

If I'm not mistaken I think Sunbrella only recommends 303 for use on thier products.
