COMPLETED PROJECTS
I got two of my major projects completed today.
The first, of which I'm very proud of, is my hidden anchor winch assembly. The second is a cutting board table top/ rod holders.

Herb, the table top and the rod holder are both made of HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) The same stuff kitchen cutting boards are made from, only thicker. Its easy to work with using woodworking tools, although I did use a CNC mill to make the rod holder. Now that I've got it done, I hate to scratch it up cutting on it.
Thanks for the complement.

I would love to have access to a cnc mill! I bought a combo mill lathe to see if I liked playing around with it, its alot of fun to take a piece of metal and force it into something you want.. Someday when I get my shop built, I will buy full size dedicated mill & lathe so I can make real projects..
