Finally on the water

#1 Post by blackberg » Sat May 28, 2011 11:57 pm

So I finally was able to get in the water.
Was able to go out for about 90 minutes before the lake closed and it was a little cold and windy.

Found out my down trim button up front was not working, although it was working before at home. Had to go to the motor button to move it down. Oh and my new MPH gauge, is not working, not that it matters much. Although my new water pressure gauge and new tach arent working, as well, I did swap out the old tach for the test drive though.

Of course I wanted to find out how fast I can go, this was the best I can do with the trim stuck and wind

my max RPMs where about 4500, but I was captivating and didnt feel like messing with it to get the motor down lower this time. I have early 90s Mercury 2stroke 60hp.

Also wanted to try the 898csi and couldnt find anything other than flat sandy bottom.
