Storm hits Harbor Towne Marina,Belmont NC

From the Charlotte Observer: 6/05/11: One of four docks at
Harbortowne Marina, on Lake Wylie in Belmont,NC was blown into the lake by storm gusts, according to two boat owners. Several people had taken shelter in their boats when the storm arrived, and they were blown into the open waters of the lake with the dock.
Photo shows where the dock used to be,it is now on the bottom of the lake after it pulled away from the pylons,the marina workers moved all the boats to other vacant slips so the owners could get to their boats.
No injuries and no boats seriously damaged. We keep our boat in another dock and had zero damage.
