I ordered a couple of parts for an old spidercast reel from Mike's Reel Repair http://www.mikesreelrepair.com/ on February 15, and received them today.
Their website has schematics for lots of reels, so finding what the part is called was easy. Finding the *actual* part number on their site - to order from them - was a different story. I had to call them in Canada to find out their part number, to order the right thing.
I had called them and got their answering machine. I told them the make/model of the reel, and what the parts were that I wanted. A few hours later they called me back. Since I was driving, I asked them to email me a parts list/pricing. When I got home, the email was in my inbox. It included all the information I needed to make the order. I went to their website and ordered.
The items received are exactly as ordered. Packaged securely.
I will order from them again, when needed.
