Actually they're made in Michigan, but their largest sales place IS in minnesota. Beware T&M Marine in Minnesota. They'll give you a GREAT price for a GREAT boat on an absolutely INFERIOR (And illegal in 33 states) trailer.

Like Herb said, you have to look at the size of the water you are going to be on. If price is the main consideration then keep an eye out for a used one. There always comes a deal, especially after you just bought one. Someone probably wants to trade up but wants to get rid of theirs first. Maybe advertise saying that you are looking for an 18 footer. Get the motor checked out by a mechanic and you ready to go.
