Really no drain plugs? Have you looked on the inboard sides?ralph wrote:Just bought a new 2086 with 27"logs. I don'know the gauge, however they are chambered with no drain plug. Hope this helps.
Yes, I do see vent plugs on the top of the toons, but no drain plugs on the bottom of the toons, like I've seen on some other manufacturers.ToonGuy wrote:Most likely they are vent plugs on the top of the toons. You won't be able to see them if your toon us under skinned because you have full length risers on the outside and under skinning on the inside.
That's exactly why I asked! As a ship engineer its hard for me to accept that so much is done without logic.....ToonGuy wrote:... Personally, I never understood the logic behind that but to each their own.

Can't say that I agree with not having drain plugs.... Even ships, tugs and barges have drain plugs; just about every tank space has a flush fitted pipe plug that can be removed from under the hull just in case the need for a drain be needed.....Dude wrote:teecro wrote:That's exactly why I asked! I agree, was trying to help out the OP. I like that mine does NOT have drain plugs.
