I recently purchased a 24' pontoon boat with fiberglass pontoons. The title says it's a 1984 Playmate. However, I have searched and searched online and have not been able to find one like it. It also has a changing room and wet bar with sundeck overhead. It needs some restoration and I'm looking forward to the challenge and all the fun we will have in it this summer.
I have included a couple pictures. Has anyone ever seen one like this? Any information would be much appreciated.

Thank You,

James

The only playmates I can recall were up in the Chicago Playboy mansion. :biggrin2

I believe it's a Catamaran Cruiser built an hour north of me in Columbia, TN.

See their website @ www.catamarancruiser.com

They still make a pontoon with fiberglass pontoons on a very limited basis. The pontoon's not very nice in my eyes.

I've always wondered how they perform, since they're just about the only houseboat in the retail market that's actually affordable.

Catamaran Cruisers have been in business many years and have built something like 5000 pontoon houseboats. Since they're 'glass, they're good in salt water, with many in the Bahamas in rental operation.

Thanks for the replies guys. I still haven't found any info on it but will continue looking. I send and email to the catmaran web site so I'll see what they have to say.
As far as the playmate mansion, maybe that should be the name I put on the back of this boat :)

It makes me wonder if it's related to the old Playbuoy company - now known as Avalon/Tahoe
