While after reading the post of James Myers this is a company for everyone to do business with. You don't find company's that will tell the truth like he did. Then to make the refund he has man what a proud owner. There is not another company out there that would have taken the steps he just did to fix something he didn't even have control over. Way to go pontoon stuff. Com you are my kind of company and if you have it and I need it you are my store.

This has been a fine post to read. Kudos to both parties involved.

Well we all know "shit happens" even thought we try to avoid it. It's people like these two that make the difference in a free enterprise system. Hat's off to the both of you for letting cool heads prevail, mistakes recognized and rectified,,,a small amount of faith has been restored in me toward people in today's world.... thanks

James Meyers. Class.

In my lifetime, I have grown to have a general mistrust of large companies-especially as they grow even larger. The mistakes, lack of personal service and corporate greed just raise my hackles. I'm seeing a notable departure from this formula and I'm quite impressed.

And adding to what James has already said, we have had personal communication regarding all of this. James is truly one of a kind and working blood, sweat and tears to bring back what has been lost over the last few decades, true personal customer service.

My initial order with his company was $300 of which he has refunded $60 and still shipped the missing product. So just based on those numbers he didn't make a penny off me and probably lost a little. Money aside the amount of his personal time he has devoted to making sure this was corrected far outweighs all the above numbers. I work in a business dealing with high end business and commercial jets, even the so called customer service people at that level do not come remotely close to the passion I have experienced from James and Pontoonstuff.com.

I will never be his biggest customer but I will always be his customer.

I can't begin to apologize enough for the initial negative reaction I had to the whole ordeal. I let the passion and frustration of many things out of his control guide my initial post. James took my negative post as a positive, went way above and beyond to correct a mistake and has earned the utmost respect I can give to any business or person.

I think a PontoonStuff T-shirt should be included with each order. That's a great way of advertising :thumbsup .

I ordered the 303 cleaner/protectant deal and received the wrong thing (two bottles of cleaner, no protectant). The issue was promptly resolved to my satisfaction. I can honestly say I've never experienced customer service like this. Many other companies out there should take note of Jim's dedication to his customers. This is the kind of service that keeps customers. I will always go to PS.com first for my boating needs.

After reading this thread, I will definitely take a look at their site. Always refreshing to hear of GOOD customer service. We all make mistakes, but how those mistakes are handled is the most important thing.
