Looking for info on Lowe pontoons

Starting to research a future pontoon. Looking at a smaller 16-18 ft pontoon. Something I can handle on my own. Wife enjoys cruising and fishing , as do I. As hard as I have tried , I am unable to find any info on the Lower Ultra 162 fish and cruise. No review anywhere on the net.
I know they are not too of the line. Of course I'm not interested in top of the line. Just want something the wife and I could cruise around and fish from. I've owned a couple pontoons in the past. Had a 1995 18ft Voyager lake raider with a 40 on it. Tins of great memories made on it. Then we got a 2011 Party barge 20 with a 90. It was great too , but didn't see much use due to building a new home. Then we bought a 2017 Bayliner element E18 with a 115. It was fast , but heavy. A real pain to load and unload. Nowhere near the room we were used to. Sold it. Now I'm thinking of getting a pontoon early next year. Will probably buy new. (Warranty , service main reason for new) just can't find any info on the Lower pontoons. Would love to find owner review , or any performance specs with 40 , or 50 hp engines.
Any body have any ideas?
Thanks

No experience with the 18' but have owned the Lowe 20ft fishing model with a 90 Merc since 2010. Still happy with it. No problems with the boat. Pretty good for the price point it is in. Actually fished 2 big bass tournaments on Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend with it and it handled the big water conditions well. I'm sure the 18 will work for you.

This may be helpful.

Not sure how much my info will help:

Wife and I are now first time boat/pontoon owners and we chose to go with Lowe. We went to several shows and looked and researched and evaluated what we wanted vs what we needed.

We opted for the SS210 Walkthrough with a 150 mercury.

I wanted something that could haul any number of people and still scoot if need be.

We've been out a dozen times since Easter (even in cooler weather just to get experience) and I couldn't be happier with what we got. The cost and quality is fantastic. I feel like we were able to get a top notch boat without the accompanying price tag. There were definitely other boats offered by Lowe and others that were definitely flashier as well as not as flashy. We seemed to land right in the middle and it's been a blast for us so far. Nothing but compliments on the boat every time we are out.

Pick your dealer, then pick your boat! I say that all the time and I believe it's one of the most important things to do when it comes to shopping for a boat, especially a new one. In my mind, the service response of a local dealer is much more important than the brand of the boat.

Shop some of the local dealers and see what they offer. Even if they don't carry Lowe's, they're most likely to have similar offering at a similar price point.

I have looked at the Sun Tracker bass buggy 16 in person. The only thing I didn't like was no access to rear of boat from inside. I do like the 18ft bass buggy. But I want to at least look at the Lowe ultra 162 ( 16 ft) before finally deciding. The 2 nearest dealers are over 1.5 hrs away and do not have any in stock. I have looked at Sweetwater pontoons , they are very nice , but much more expensive and plush than what we want. Whichever one we do buy will primarily be used for fishing , and probably only a few times a month. Obviously there are very nice pontoons by a ton of manufacturers at a wife range of price points. And I have nothing against any of them. I am looking for a smaller boat that can easily be handled loading/unloading by 1 person , and has a set up that lends itself to fishing. The Ultra 162 by Lowe has the layout that I like. Would just like to have actual owner reviews to read online , so far I have been unable to find any. Also do not see any used ones for sale anywhere , so I assume people must really like em.

I really like the Lowe Ultra 162 based on what I see on the Internet and the Build specs I put together. Unfortunately my closest dealer is 50 miles away and appears to be shut down due to Covid. I’d be real tempted to buy one if I could find a way to order it. Once you add some options it is far above the Bass Buggy 16 & 16 Select. Please post back when you decide what you are buying.

Thanks,

Mike

I have my choices narrowed to the Lowe 162 Fish and Cruise and the Tracker Bass Buggy 16 DLX. Either will have a 20 HP for fishing limited HP lakes. Dealers are about the same distance away. I fish Pymatuming a lot and will be watching for anyone running one there.

Like I said back when this thread was started in 2019, pick the dealer and then pick tht boat!
