#1 Post by Denny B » Tue Sep 29, 2009 11:49 am

This pontoon company from Minnesota has been building pontoons since 1996.Its called Elete pontoons and it is a huge price savings across the board. Their web site is www.nivimfg.com
They have a few dealers across the U.S. and are doing very well.

Mike, the way were priced we are doing quite well. Our dealers are very happy on receiving their shipment of the 2010 models. We offer our toon models at least 20 % less than the other higher end pontoon companies because of our low overhead expenses and not getting caught up in the hype that we need to build or add, expaned or move to another location. Then you would hire more people which drives the costs that is passed at the end of the pontoon selling price on to customers. We just DO NOT want to do that. Our pontoons are so VERY affordable during the down turn of the economy, it our prices which is keeping us afloat. We use all the best materials such as 23 inch multi chambered aluminum tubes constructed at .090 gauge with mounting brackets on all our 19 foot and up pontoon models, rotocast compartments and furniture at 32 oz U.V. treated vinyl all COMPLETELYwood free, (No rot) Colored matching Bimini top is also standard, 20 oz carpeting with abundance of storage compatments. We offer many different color options.
It takes anywhere from three to four weeks to build one.Everyone of our models are built to order.Everyone is fresh, not sitting around out doors. Many of our dealers are finding that we are so affordable and asks why buy used when a customer can have the pride of fresh new ownership and a full factory and engine warranty to back them instead of someone elses costly headache and and there's no boat fax to back it up.Elete is in its own league in pontoons.

We do not have a house boat in stock or being built. However there is a customers house boat at the plant to see.
During late winter is when you really can see house boats in production because of the spring delivery orders.
