Any known issues with 2000 Suncruise Trinidad 222 or 2000 90

ruiserI am looking at a 2000 LOWE Suncruiser Trinidad 222 with 2000 90 HP Johnson 2 stroke. Are ther any known issues with the pontoon or engine?

That should be Suncruiser rather than Sunchaser but yes I have one. Mine is a '03 TR220 that I bought new in the spring of '04. I've been thru 5 seasons with it now with no major issues at all. Just tighten up a screw or bolt here and ther occasionally. One nice thing is it has a 1 piece deck. I have hear people talk about other brands that water will seep up thru the seems in the plywood and make the carpet wet. With no seems it's not an issue.
Can't comment on the Merc.as I have a Yamaha. Mine also a 90hp and runs right at 23 mph at WOT.
