Starcraft is quality wise in the same family as Monark, Suntracker classic models, and Fisher pontoons. They were at one time a pretty high quality toon but like Lowe went down it seems in build quality construction. A friend has a 22 fishing model (year ???) and I swam under it last summer and was not very impressed with cross members. Seemed like they had like 30" centers which I feel is not enough to keep from flexing in heavy chop. Now this was an older(5 or more) toon so newer ones might be nicer and better.

I'm still running a 24' Starcraft with a Yamaha 115 two stroke with the U shaped 23" pontoons.

1985 model--Nuff said.

One time, I needed some parts, and found them unresponsive. There again, it was a long time ago.

I need new upholstery, but that can wait for another year. I'm building a new boathouse this year for my new Waverunner.
