303 protectant

#1 Post by dockholiday » Thu Jul 15, 2010 1:38 pm

Pretty good deal......free shipping an 2 containers of wipes. I ordered some from another place today an it was a few buck cheaper but no free shipping an no 2 containers of wipes. My shipping to Ga was about 8 bucks a gallon. Got one clearer an one protectant.

Got the 303 yesterday. It works great. Had a few mildew stains (on the white portion) it didn't remove so I had to use the mix they recommend on their website.http://www.303products.com/shop303/inde ... -vinyl.cfm
Hope once I get the vinyl cleaned well and apply the protectant it will cut down on the cleaning process. Think they have a stain remover product, I wish I had included that in my order. So far seems to be a great product, best vinyl cleaner I have used.

303 is amazing.
I just purchased a used toon, and we cleaned all the seats and lockers with Spray 9, and then sprayed the 303 on all the vinyl. WOW is all I can say !! :alright It leaves the seats feeling smooth, soft, and silky. It was like $15 for a 16 oz spray bottle, and I used maybe 3/4 of the bottle on a 21 foot toon. I'm gonna purchase more the next time I'm at the hardware store.

And no, I dont work for them .. lol.

Around these parts, West Marine and smaller boating stores carry it. Never seen it anywhere else. Use the 303 Protectant on your seats.

I've used the 303 protectant for the past ten years. A secret you may not know. Apply it and let it dry and it will shine and last a long time maybe half a Mich season June to Oct. is our season. If you don't want the shine. Just before it drys wipe it with a clean dry cloth. But it will only last about half as long if you do that. Now you can buy it at most any Marina where they sell and service boats in there little store. I've never seen 303 Aerospace protectant at Walmart or K-Mart. Although they both do carry a lot of boating and fishing supplies around here where I live, surrounded by lakes. The 303 protects the Vinyl from the Sun's UV rays plus it protects from Dust and dirt. Yes you do get dust and dirt even when the boat is on the water because dust and dirt are airborne products. You really know it after a rain if you leave your furniture uncovered.

They sell it at the local RV and truck accessory places and and some marine dealers. You can do a search for dealers on the 303 website.

I have used 303 for more than 10 years on several boats, and I love the stuff. Even in the brutal sun and heat in Arizona it protects the vinyl well.

Had the toon for 3+yrs now. 303 is the best. Looks like the day I yanked it off the lot!

Sounds like great stuff. How often do you have to apply it?

I have used this stuff on my seats from day one. American soft trim gave me a cleaning kit with instructions and they said to only use 303 on the seats. I end up cleaning mine quite a bit mostly from the fact it lives on a trailer and I have to tow down a gravel road to get home. I cleam them every week with a damp cloth and use the 303 cleaner every few weeks or so. When ever i clean them real good I reapply the protectant. I pays to shop around for this stuff becasue the price can really vary. I've been getting it from wholesale marine.
