Welcome

35 is not that fast for a bass boat but for a toon it is pretty quick. Thinking a 150hp on a 22 or 24". You want new or used? New shouldn't be a problem finding the floor plan an hp you want, used might require a little more looking. Oh usually if you go the four point design (fishing chairs on all four corners) you loose the changing room, but their may be some exceptions

Check out Voyager. Get at least a 150hp motor. FYI: the motor will cost at least as much as the toon if not more.
Counting all the a$$holes in the room Well I'm definitely not alone

Manitou Osprey Pro SHP. You can get them in either 2 chairs or all four corners. Mine has the 4 chairs.

Rod lockers livewells etc and a changing room (small but it works though).

Well we have a 20 foot bennington fishing barge and love it.. but I'll be honest with you, we almost bought a G3 20 footer, and one of the things we really liked about that boat was that even though both the benny and the G3 were listed as being 20', the G3 had considerably more deck space.... one thing I would HIGHLY recommend if you're going for a fishing barge is get it with the vinyl decking, if you go with carpet I think you'll be sorry. We went with vinyl and boy am I glad we did.. when you consider dropping bait, fish, tracking in crap from the launch.... get's pretty dirty really quick, and the vinyl decking cleans up pretty easy.

Lots of options out there. Everyone loves their own boat. I love mine as well. Check out the voyager 22' fish an cruise deluxe. I have the 25' with a 150, but the 22' with a 115 should get you where you want to be brand new for about $28,000. Mine was $33,000. I have 4 fishing seats (two up front, two in the rear) plus the changing room and the big L-Couch. I can seat 16. I can pull a tube at 25mph with a full load, or run 32mph with a light load on the way to our favorite fishing hole.

Good luck, and be sure and post pictures of what you get!

thanks guys,i ended up getting a 08 sun tracker 21 fishing barge w/strakes,with a 90 merc, hardly used ,took it out sunday boat was fantastic, the trailer was another story since it took an hour to get it back on it,the guides were all out of position/alignment making it a nightmare to get it perfectly on bunks, looks like guides are for a pontoon without strakes cause the guides hit the strakes awkwardly and not the pontoons, how close do these guides need to be when your pontooon is on trailer?
