First have you physically yourself looked this boat over......

Second the 150hp. motor new is in the 15 grand ballpark, used if in reasonable shape it still would be valued about half that. It's in a dealer lot (I checked) so have them hook it up and run a computer report of actual hours and run report on the motor. Hours, rpm run operation, and any codes should show up on report. Since this is a dealer you should be able to work out some sort of warranty like 100% the first 50 hrs. and then maybe ween it back to 100 hrs.... or whatever.

Third does the trailer come with it? Couldn't determine from looking at the posting add myself. If it does it looks to be a pretty nice aluminum trailer which also adds value especially since you plan on pulling it. It will cut the overall weight down significantly of the package, and weight wise it would be more like pulling a twenty footer than a thirty footer.

Forth you're negotiating with a dealer, your not going to bruise their feelings IMO. They are asking 18 Grand offer 15 if you like it and getting 17 out of them should be easy, but you may get it down to 16,500 maybe a bit less. But you'll never know unfortunately unless you play the game...

Thank you for that info, and yes the trailer is included in the price, I havent thought about the engine report Im not that familiar with Yamaha ob. Ill look into that, I was figuring if It checks out well, I could always redo the seats little by little. I have physically looked at the boat. the front right bench seat has a small puncture hole about the 1" in diameter. I didnt see any more holes in the interior just mostly sun damage the carpet seems to be in good shape just needs some tlc. The engine looked to be in good condition but I will look into the engine report. I really appreciate everyones input, Has really made me consider things I havent before.

Any information on 60 hp 4 stroke merc with bigfoot on a 25ft party barge. Speed is not my objective just enough power to get me from here to there is all and use in mod rough water at times with several people aboard. I dont want to be struggling in the water you know.
