Well when I get somewhere where I can use it an its not resolved I won't be going there if it ended up be something not covered by warranty I would have to get a loan with there prices. Where I bought it couldn't even believe so I faxed them the invoice. They concurred I was screwd on that deal! But I could really handle it being fixed! But my luck won't role that way!

After learning my lesson about periodic replacement of the impeller (happened on my Four Winns), I now get them changed out about every 100 hours or so, or every other year if I don't put that many hours on the engine. Here at Lake of the Ozarks it costs me less than $250 for an impeller change-out for my 200 Optimax. It was about the same for the Four Winns.
Regardless of whether you get satisfaction from Mercury, you need to let people know the name of those robbers that nicked you $725 for the impeller.

It was not at a dealer but I had my 22ft with a 90 yamaha pulled out of the slip and put back in this spring, cleaned toons, changed lower oil, changed pump and replace tach the bill was not that much. They did get YOU! or I got lucky that time maybe not the next.
