When down to the slips and took the boat out for a run and got a nice 5 plus lb stripper for dinner

We don't have strippers here in central fl but we have the sunshine bass which is a strip/white bass hybrid.Looks like a stripper but don't get as big,up to 20 LBS. I think,sure are fighters and good eating .

Is that the same as white bass here in wisco ? We get them but usually only 1/2# or so.

They are white bass. Striper hybrids are white bass/striper hybrids.

Why yes BMR it sure looks like it could eat all of mine in one shot. Probably a lot more fun to catch to. Mine just kind of lay flat and skip on in. :nana
