SANIBEL ISLAND, Fla.
Two Ormond Beach teenagers hooked a 350-pound sawfish and reeled it in off the beach of Sanibel Island.
Jesse Alexander and Jordan Crabb were vacationing with family when they caught the 14-foot fish Wednesday.
Crabb took the bait out about 75 yards with a kayak, and within three minutes they had a fish on the line.
The boys knew they had something significant on the line and a huge crowd gathered to watch the effort.
It took the 17-year-olds an hour and a half, switching turns reeling it in, with a little help from their dads.
The sawfish is endangered and the teen fishermen released it.
