I want to put a more accessible fuse box on.
I want a waterproof or water resistant fuse box on my tracker pontoon. I am too large to access my box in the helm housing. I plan on putting it outside of my helm housing. I suppose I will run wires from the existing bus bar to the new fuse box and drill a hole for the wires.I think I would like to mount it below the wheel.
Anyone have any suggestions on a good fuse block?
How would you go about that?
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Due to the overwhelming response this has received, I thought I would post what I am considering. As for a fuse block, I am considering this:
https://www.amazon.com/Liteway-Illumina ... 36&sr=8-10
As the wire connections are open to the elements, I think I would need a waterproof box to put it in. I am considering something like this.
https://www.buycasesforless.com/p-12272 ... -case.aspx
I plan on placing that on the outside of my helm enclosure and running the wiring to my old fuse box inside of the helm enclosure. I will glue a pvc pipe to the back of hte box so that water will not seep into it as it comes in contact to the helm enclosure.
Any ideas?

Looks like you posted the same link twice (to the fuse holder).

I like how many modern cars have the fusebox located behind a dash door accessible without needing to fold yourself up on the floor under the dash. Maybe install a small "hatch" in your console, covered with matching vinyl. There's probably no real need to put the panel in a waterproof box if it's located behind a door.
The console in my boat was a rats-nest that I cleaned up using 2 of the same type panel you linked--one for "ignition" circuits, one for "battery".

Here is the case I am considering if I can find a place so it will not be in the way. I don't can't really make much modification to the helm enclosure.

We used that amazon fuse block on our rebuild, with no issues so far. But my question is, if you need to relocate to access it, are you blowing a lot of fuses? If so why?
Try looking at Harbor Freight for a waterproof box, may be lower in cost with 20% off coupon for similar unit.

I will check that out. The problem is, if I need to check a fuse, I can't hardly get my arms in to get it, much less my head. I am over six feet and 270 pounds. My shoulders will certainly will not fit in space where the fuses are.

I hear what your saying, being a svelte 265 myself.....
We also ran a dedicated ground strip in our console and then ran a 12 gauge ground back to the battery. We used a piece of 1 inch aluminum angle and self taping screws, no issues with that either.

Just another thought, look at Walmart or Target for small storage containers that are clear with locking lids, if its not in the weather they may work too, and you may have a greater choice of sizes.

You might also consider something like this. Then you don't have to worry about fuses again. Circuit breakers are just so much easier!

Re: I want to put a more accessible fuse box on.
I used this panel for my setup:
I have the buss bars inside the helm then wires running from them to the switches then out to whatever. they have circuit breakers so no fuses to replace. I use one switch as my main on/off for all electronics (i have a 80 amp relay that disconnects the main power from the battery). the other switches are for docking lights, nav/anchor lights, etc... it works well and again, no fuses to deal with. I have seen panels that just have the circuit breaker on/off switch and a light, more basic but does the same thing. Just make sure whatever you are connecting the breaker is the right amperage for it.1995 Sun Tracker 21 Party Barge

Looks good as I only need 6 circuits. If I did need another circuit could I add to an existing circuit?steve1313 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 3:17 amYou might also consider something like this. Then you don't have to worry about fuses again. Circuit breakers are just so much easier!

You can double up on a single circuit as long as the load is not too much(like LED lighting).Olustee bus wrote: ↑Wed Sep 02, 2020 11:33 amLooks good as I only need 6 circuits. If I did need another circuit could I add to an existing circuit?steve1313 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 3:17 amYou might also consider something like this.
