Soon to be owner.
Hey I'm Clay.
I haven't bought my pontoon yet but I will be maybe as soon as next weekend, I took off Friday to go look at one.
I bought my 1st boat about 5 years ago and now as the family has grown we've decided it's time time to upgrade from a ski boat to a pontoon. We do about 90% of our boating on Pickwick Lake with the occasional run up to the Nashville area lakes.

Welcome, what size are you looking at, Bi or Tri toon, now is the time to ask questions before you buy, the first thing you need to know is buy one with the biggest engine you can afford or want, it costs more to re-engine most times than buying a whole boat.
How many people do you see having with you most times ?

If you're wanting to buy new, checkout JacosMarine.com for the Mercury dealer in Lawrenceburg. You're simply not going to beat his prices on a pontoon, and he's just 70 miles from Pickwick Dam.
Jaco has customers coming in from all over the country to repower their bass boats. And his mechanics are about as good as it comes with many championship Allison racing boats setup by them.

22-25 Foot, usually 4-6 people sometimes 8 likely no more than 10. The one I'm going to look at is a 2000 25 foot Crest II with a Merc 90hp 2 stroke. I would much rather have a 4 stroke but I do know of a local dealer that has 2003 Merc 115 EFI 4 stroke and is willing to take a trade in on the 90.
