We finally hit the water this past weekend. Man, what a long off season.
We lost our black Lab April 4, something we knew was coming. We were going to get a chocolate to go with our silver but I'd read about German Shorthaired Pointers...well, mainly Pearl in the Spencer novels by Robert B. Parker...and saw where they can come in full liver so we found one. Introduced her to water for the first time. I think she'll come around, just not as fast as the silver Lab did though who was swimming after stuff the first trip out. Their birthdays are four years and two days apart.
