The aluminum decks are not often seen on pontoons.

Many manufacturers that used aluminum previously have gone back to marine plywood. The floor is a big part of the structure, and marine plywood is more stable than aluminum--and cheaper.

I almost went with the vinyl deck when I considered having to clean carpet. The extra cost turned me off the idea.
My dealer had one 2013 PB left and it had vinyl. I jumped on it because it had the 90 HP.

Hello all,
We just picked up our first Pontoon boat, Purchased a Veranda 22 F4 with 115 yamaha. looked at other brands and they were way above what we wanted to pay or not quit the layout we wanted. On the Veranda was the all aluminum interlocking deck. I do have 1 question, after looking at the Veranda prior to buying, we could not find very much info on them as far as reveiws (what i did find was from boatingmag.com) and that review was pretty good. I have found other forums that i read through and not very much info about the Veranda. I am wondering if anyone here has or knows someone that has a veranda and what thier thoughts are overall. Especially the deck being aluminum, because as i research there are some that prefer aluminum and some that prefer the plywood. So i cannot get a real since of the stability of the aluminum deck and the longevity, as well as a general review of what users think not just what a Magazine publisher thinks.
