Hello, my name is AzGeo and I live in Lake Havasu City Arizona. I've had a few 'toons over the years and currently have a 1990 Landau 24' with a 100 Merc (2 stroke) and a 1987 Gregor (called 28') with a Big Johnson 140. I'm into fast boats, and have been for over 40 years. I am a Certified Marine Surveyor and (like everyone else) never get enough time 'out on the water'. Currently working on the Gregor, and I like to to a 'complete overhaul' about every 4 years. Also a friend damaged the bow of my (selfbuilt) center pontoon, so the boat is all apart in my driveway. So, hello and hope to exchange ideas and info with all of you. Thanks, AzGeo

:biggrin2 Greetings, I am new to this Forum, but I was active in another Pontoon Forum in 2003 -2005 and got to know John 6X6 Larson (truly a great person-it was hard when he passed away for so many of us in the boating community-).
I thought this would be a great place to start back in again because of your memorial to 6X6 here.

I am looking to purchased another Pontoon Boat, sold my last one, a Fisher Pontoon, a little after Marina day in 2005 and bought a bigger house. I had to lower expenses back then but I have always missed boating so I have started to look around at Pontoon boats again. Now I making the plan, back to boating again. I really enjoyed the online community we had back then and it looks like you all have a great one here. :!:

While looking back at some of my boating pictures, it bought back great memories so I will post some of these. I Look forward to great boating times again. :biggrin2

Yesterday, I went Cabelas and looked at some of the Pontoon boats they had there-the Lowe SS210 looked good. It is amazing how many performance improvements the pontoon boats have standard now. I am going to search new and used. I live in the Fort Worth -Alliance area so finding the right lake will be part of the exploration -I will have to do also.

I will have to learn how to put the MB Avatar on the posts and learn about posting pictures and would enjoy hearing from you all! :) MB

Great site and wealth of information. Already on the water with the new toon, only took 6 months for me to upgrade. I guess you could say the bug has fully set in!

New member here in Bear, Delaware. Looking to go to the Philly boat show in two weeks to finalize my research but I'm pretty sure my purchase will be a 2013 suntracker party barge 22 dlx with a 90 hp merc 4 stroke efi. Tracker is offering 1000$ bass pro gift card for any pontoon boat longer than 18' purchased before June.

Probably start out in the northern chesapeake from public ramps (chesapeake city, charlestown, river bend park).

Probably looking to get the humminbird 587ci hd for my fishfinder/chartplotter/gps - any opinions?

Just finished creating a 12 ft wide gate in my back fence for parking the boat.

Weather is changing, my adrenalin is risin'! :thumbsup

New toon owner...traded my Captiva 212 for an Xcursion X25RF. Live in Buffalo Grove, IL have palace on Delavan Lake in WI. Took delivery 3 weeks ago in 40* temps and rain. Finally got a nice day today to play a bit. So far so good. Just some minor issues. Looking forward to learning a lot from the folks here.
Don't let life make you look weak. Be like a duck. On the surface keep cool and smooth, even though you're paddling like hell underneath.
